ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark

Arrive Copenhagen. Clear all the airport formalities and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Copenhagen.

Day 2 – Copenhagen

After Breakfast in the hotel we will proceed for 3-hour guided sightseeing tour of Copenhagen which includes The Royal Amalienborg Palace, Christiansburg Palace (Danish Parliament Buildings), Gefion Fountain, Nyhavn, and of course the famous Little Mermaid. Later in the afternoon we will come back to the hotel for Lunch. After lunch we proceed for Oresund Bridge. This Bridge connects from Denmark to Sweden. Later proceed towards Malmo city tour. Late evening return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 – Copenhagen – Oslo (overnight cruise)

After breakfast, check out hotel and transfer to Tivoli Garden. After lunch this afternoon transfer from your hotel to the DFDS Seaways terminal. At 17:00 hrs. We will depart Copenhagen by an overnight ferry to Oslo. Scandinavian buffet dinner on board. Accommodation in a 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC. We recommend that you bring an overnight bag for this cruise, to avoid having to carry suitcases to and from your cabin.

Day 4 – Arrive in Oslo, the capital of Norway

A delicious buffet breakfast is being served as your cruise along the Oslo Fjord. Arrival in Oslo at 09.30 hours, followed by a 3-hour guided tour of the Norwegian capital. The sightseeing tour includes the world-famous Viking Ships, The Polar exploration ship Fram, and the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park. Later check – inn in the hotel.

DAY 5 – Oslo – Ulvik

After breakfast departure from Oslo, driving via Honefoss along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of Geilo. After lunch cross the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Voringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 m. Descend the amazing Mabodall Canyon to the idyllic Hardanger Fjord. Short ferry crossing, followed by drive along the Ulvik Fjord, a branch of the Hardanger Fjord, to the picturesque village of Ulvik. Overnight in Ulvik.

DAY 6 – Ulvik – Bergen – Ulvik

After buffet breakfast, start of scenic tour along the beautiful Hardanger Fjord, famous for its many fruit orchards, via the towns of Oystese and Norheimsund, arriving in Bergen around mid-day. Afternoon 2 hours tour of Bergen, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled pack houses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter. You will also ride on the Funicular to Mt. Floien, for the best views of the city and fjords way below. Later proceed to ULVIK. Overnight in Ulvik.

DAY 7 – Ulvik – Oslo

After Breakfast we proceed to Oslo. We drive through one of the best scenic rout of Norway. On the way we will have Lunch and then proceed to Oslo via Geilo.Overnight in Oslo.

DAY 8 – Oslo – Alta – Honningsvag

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Oslo airport to board your flight for Alta. On arrival board your coach and transfer to hotel and check inn. After dinner proceed towards northern edge of Europe – Honningsvag. Also enjoy a beautiful scenic and hilly long drive of 3hrs, partly covered between Snow Mountains, later free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful evening at roadside café’s. Nordkapp / North Cape / midnight sun. If you are lucky enough you can see the sun at midnight. Later walk towards a museum gallery which is located in a basement. Return back to the hotel by road (03 hrs.) and overnight in Honningssvag. (Midnight sun is subject to weather permitting).

 DAY 9 – Honningsvag – Alta – Stockholm

After breakfast, check out hotel and transfer to Alta airport to board your flight for Stockholm. Arrive & check in Hotel. Day Free to enjoy Stockholm on own. Overnight in Hotel. On this day lunch will be late depends on flight schedule.

DAY 10 – Stockholm– Helsinki

After Breakfast the day starts with a 4 hours guided tour of the city. Famous sights include the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, Cathedral, Royal Theatre, etc. You will also visit the enchanting Old Town (Gamla Stan) with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. Highlight of the tour is a visit to City Hall with its impressive Blue and Golden Halls, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each year. Afternoon free in Stockholm, with possibility to visit the famous Vasa Museum or take one of the popular canal tours. After Lunch Afternoon transfer from hotel to pier, for embarkation on a luxurious cruise ferry of the Silja Line. 17.00 hrs. Departure from Stockholm, sailing slowly through the picturesque archipelago past numerous small islands. Dinner on board. Choice of entertainment, bars, shops and casino. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins (seaside) with shower/WC. We recommend you to bring an overnight bag for this cruise, to avoid having to bring suitcases to and from your cabin.

 DAY 11 – Helsinki

Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki harbour. After disembarkation 3 hours guided tour of Helsinki. Famous sights include the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Underground Temple, and much more. During the afternoon you can explore the busy market place or the many souvenir shops close to the harbour. Finnish crystal and leather goods are an excellent to buy. Overnight in Helsinki.

DAY 12 – Helsinki – St. Petersburg

After breakfast. Transfer from Helsinki to St. Petersburg by coach. On arrival transfer to the Hotel. In evening Neva River cruise. Overnight in St. Petersburg.

DAY 13 – St. Petersburg

After breakfast at hotel. The day begins with 3 hours panoramic tour of the city by coach with local English-speaking guide. St. Petersburg is a city of outstanding architectural beauty, famous for its magnificent palaces, cathedrals, fountains and bridges. Afternoon return back to hotel for delicious lunch cooked by our maharaj.After lunch, tour of the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum and the State Rooms of the Winter Palace. Return to hotel.

DAY 14 – St. Petersburg – Moscow

After breakfast at hotel. We proceed the tour of Peterhof, the magnificent summer residence of all the Russian Tsars. Tour of the Lower Park including Grand Palace (inside visit).Later Coach Transfer to St. Petersburg railway station for departure at 13:00 with “Sapsan” train. 17:45: Arrival in Moscow followed by coach transfer to your hotel in the Russian capital. Moscow was founded in the 12th century, built as a wooden fortress on the banks of the Moscow River to keep out barbarian invaders from the east. Today it is a modern city with wide boulevards and green parks, yet proudly preserving its historic monuments and impressive buildings from previous eras. Overnight In Moscow.

DAY 15 – Moscow

After breakfast at hotel. Morning city tour of Moscow. Visit Red Square, St Basil’s Cathedral, Lenin’s Tomb and Kremlin Wall with local English-speaking guide. This tour lasting approx. 3 hours has to be done on foot as no coaches are allowed inside the area. The Kremlin, which was the home, not only of the Tsars, but also of Lenin and Stalin, is surrounded by 7 metres thick walls and covers an area of 29 acres. You will pass by the Lenin Mausoleum and the grave of the Unknown Soldier, where brides still leave their wedding bouquets, to visit one of the impressive Russian Orthodox Cathedrals. This will be followed by a guided tour of the Armoury Museum, containing the largest collection in the world of crown jewels and coronation robes, including the wedding dress of Catherine the Great and the famous189 carat Olov diamond. You will also see the golden horse-drawn carriages of all the Tsars and many other treasures. In the Afternoon we will come back to the hotel for lunch after some rest we will proceed  for a guided tour of the famous Moscow Metro, ending with a walk along the fascinating pedestrian street Arbat, known as the ’Montmartre of Moscow’. Return by coach to hotel.

DAY 16 – Moscow Departure

After breakfast we proceed to the respective airport to board flight for your destination. Today is the last day in Moscow. Our tour finishes with great memory of the tour conducted by WORLD WIDE TOURS AND TRAVELS.
