ITINERARY

Day 1 – Beijing

Arr. BJS by flight Air China. Transfer to hotel and rest of the time free for relaxation. Enjoy Kungfu Show and appreciate the incredible feats of strength with fists, feet, swords and other weapons. Dinner in Hotel.

Day 2 – Beijing

Visit Great Wall at Badaling section. The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China in part to protect the Chinese Empire or its prototypical states against intrusions by various nomadic groups or military incursions by various warlike peoples or forces. The wall built between 220–206 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. Lunch at Jin Dian Cloys.

Stop by and visit the Bird Nest and Water Cube from outside (2008 Olympic Stadium)

Affectionately known as Bird’s Nest, it is situated in Olympic Green Village, Cheboygan District. It was designed as the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Since October, 2008, after the Olympics ended, it has been opened as a tourist attraction. Now, it’s the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. The Beijing National Aquatics – also officially known as the National Aquatics Center and colloquially known as the Water Cube, is an aquatics center that was built alongside Beijing in the Olympic Green for the swimming competitions of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Visit Summer Palace. Golden Mask Dynasty Show.

Day 3 – Beijing/train/Xian

Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden Square. Tiananmen Square is a large city square in the center of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen Gate (Gate of Heavenly Peace) located to its North, separating it from the Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is the third largest city square in the world (440,000 m² – 880m by 500m or 109 acres – 960 by 550 yd). It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now its called as the Palace Museum. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 720,000 m2 (7,800,000 sq ft). The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings situated in the    southeastern part of central Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. It has been regarded as a Taoist temple although Chinese Heaven worship, especially by the reigning monarch of the day, pre-dates Taois.

Day 4 – Xian

Arrive at Xian and transfer to the hotel (early check-in included). Arrive at the hotel and check-in (Usual room check inn rules is 2.00pm. Special request has been made on approval) If the hotel is running full, they might take some more time. Lunch at the hotel. Big Wild Goose Pagoda Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Chinese: Dàyàn Tǎ), is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China. It was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories, although the structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming Dynasty. One of the pagoda’s many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang. Enjoy Tang Dynasty Show.

DAY 5 – Xian

Breakfast at the hotel. Terracotta Warriors and Army. The Terracotta Army or the “Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses”, is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife. In the three pits containing the Terracotta Army there were over 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which are still buried in the pits nearby Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum.

Visit the Grand mosque on with World Wide Tours & Travels

The Great Mosque of Xi’an located near the Drum Tower (GU Lou) on 30 Huajue Lane of Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China. It is the oldest and one of the most renowned mosques in the country founded in 1742. It was built and renovated in later periods (especially during the reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty). It remains a popular tourist site of Xi’an, and is still used by Chinese Muslims.

DAY 6 – Xian/Guilin

Leisure time for shopping mall at your own. Depart for Xian airport to board your flight to Guilin. Arrival at Guilin and transfer to restaurant for Dinner. Today will be western dinner like Pizza / Mac/ Subway for a change in meals. Check inn at hotel. Overnight at Guilin.

DAY 7 – Guilin

Enjoy Cruise on the Lijiang River and be exposed to the indescribable beauty and scenery surrounding it. The natural scenery is the highlight of this attraction.  The formation of the mountains and the visual interpretations of the shapes and colours of the scenes lend to a relaxing boat ride.  The tour then ends with a walk through a small town named Yangshuo that used to be a backpacker way station in this part of China.   Small shops and many eateries dot the streets of this village.

Visit Qi Xingyan Park and Reed Flute Cave

The Reed Flute Cave  is a landmark and tourist attraction in Guilin, Guangxi, China. It is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin’s most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. It is over 180 million years old. The cave got its name from the type of reed growing outside, which can be made into melodious flutes. Reed Flute Cave is filled with a large number of stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations in weird and wonderful shapes. Inside, there are more than 70 inscriptions written in ink, which can be dated back as far as 792 AD in the Tang Dynasty. These aged inscriptions tell us that it has been an attraction in Guilin since ancient times. It was rediscovered in the 1940s by a group of refugees fleeing the Japanese troops. Enjoy Impression Liu San Jie Show. Overnight in Guilin.

DAY 8 – Guilin/Shanghai

Free time to enjoy Swimming/ Gym/ relax at hotel and enjoy the hotel. Lunch at the hotel and Check out of the hotel. Elephant trunk only with World Wide Tours & Travels. The Elephant Trunk Hill is a landmark and tourist attraction in Guilin, Guangxi, China. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of the city of Guilin. It got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking water. The round opening that would be under the elephant’s trunk is known as Water-Moon Cave because at night the reflection of the moon can be seen through the arch and it looks like it is under the water and floating on the surface of the water at the same time. Elephant Trunk Hill and Water-Moon Cave are located at the confluence of the Taohua River and the Lijiang River. Depart for Guilin Airport to board your flight to Shanghai.  Arrival at Shanghai. Dinner (have dinner at the local Indian restaurant. Today Enjoy Punjabi food at the Shanghai’s finest restaurant) and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Shanghai

Jade Buddha Temple

The Jade Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai, China. As with many modern Chinese Buddhist temples, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea. Lunch at the hotel.  Walking on the Famous Bund.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower 2nd ball only with World Wide Tours & Travels

The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower is a TV tower in Shanghai, China. Its location at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong district, by the side of Huangpu River, opposite of The Bund makes it a distinct landmark in the area. It was designed by the Shanghai Modern Architectural Design Co. Ltd. Principal designers are Jiang Huan Chen, Lin Benlin and Zhang Xiulin. Construction began in 1990 and the tower was completed in 1994. At 468 m (1,535 feet) high, it was the tallest structure in China from 1994–2007, when it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center. It is classified as a AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration. Enjoy an astounding performance at theAcrobatic Show.

DAY 14 – Hiroshima – Mt. Fuji – Tokyo

After checkout, breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Hiroshima Station. Board Shinkansen to Odawara Stn. (bullet train). Arrive Odawara Station. Drive from Odawara Stn. to Hakone Ropeway. Ropeway to Owakudani. Visit Sulfur Hot Springs at Owakudani (1.15 hr). Drive from Owakudani to Mt. Fuji Base Station. Presentation on Volcanic Mt. Fuji through AV clip (20min) at Base Station. Drive up from Base station to Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Stop at 5th Station to savor the Mt. Fuji view. Drive to Tokyo from Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Dinner at the Indian Restaurant (Punjabi Food).  Check in Hotel & Rest. Overnight at the Hotel in Tokyo
